Before you kill a Tiger

Before you kill a Tiger, watch how it walks.
Watch it move, watch its eyes.
Watch how it flicks its tail,
Watch it yawn, watch it sleep.

Before you pull the trigger
Watch how the Tiger plays with cubs.
Through the sight of your gun
Watch, lying on its back, how a Tiger dreams.

A Tiger is just a big cat; like the tabby
You give milk to, every day.
Like the cat that curls, that purrs
As it rubs against your legs.

A Tiger is just a big cat
That happened to be born in the wild.
Why do you hate, fear it so
Is it because he is free?

Is it because, unlike you
The Tiger will fight,
Unlike you, coward, hiding
With your pointed gun,
Will never be afraid of you?

Shoot him, I know you will, man
Tear his skin, his teeth, his nails
And his poor flaccid penis,
For those florid, fat Chinese
For their puny, limp cocks
So that they can hump and crow
Lying on top of whores.

But before you kill a Tiger -
Look straight, deep, into its eyes -
If you still want to pull the trigger
Then turn the gun and stick
The barrel into your mouth.

Your carcass, putrid, is worth
A thousand wriggling maggots.

  1. I can feel your burning anger. And it is truly justifiable.

I dont know how man can behave so idiotic, eating tiger penis and rhino horns,to manure his own flaccid apparatus.Animals kill only when they are hungry.Man is the only animal that kills for fun.

Many types of tigers have already become extinct.Protecting them is almost equal to protecting all the wild life and their habitat.

  2. I read the link in the post. Felt like puking. Man would do anything ANYTHING for money. Feeling so very bad.
Now I can understand the mood behind the poem and the rage when you typed it.
If this is what we earn for, why earn at all?
If this is what we live for, why live at all?

  3. My hands shiver as I type this. Are we so shameless and cruel? No creature on this earth other than man would think of harming others.

  4. When I first read your post, I thought it sounded gross, but checking out the article, I realized that truth does taste bitter. It is alarming to note what goes on behind this trade and at what cost!

  5. Balan, that was a stinger , the fk.. ng fat Chinese and ....
The poem is terribly powerful, and the maggots I wonder may abhor the putrid flesh like they did with the Pharaoh.

But in face of green backs and that long fk...ng he can have the poor tiger is a lost case. And perhaps once the tigers are all gone the fk..ng fellows may turn to their mothers, fathers and sisters.
